I’ve been doing hair since I was in middle school (2006). The majority of my clients were natural and we’ve always had conversations on how or what can be used to grow their hair, stop it from shedding, heat damage, etc. I’ve always provided tips/remedies that I personally tried on my siblings and my hair.
When my niece was born in November of 2016, I had the pleasure of raising her and watching her hair journey. When she turned 1, I was expecting for her hair to start growing and for some odd reason, it didn’t. After spending 100’s of dollars on natural hair products, that’s when I decided to experiment with kid-friendly ingredients to see what I could possibly do to help her hair to grow! Around her second birthday, I started to notice the growth in her hair and decided to start a natural hair care line that I launched mid-2019.
Having to help my niece with her hair growth journey allowed me to add another skill set to my resume. Not only can I style my clients but now I can also give them what they need to keep her hair growing! My niece is now three and the way her hair has blossomed is a mouth dropper. With having mastered what exactly grows her hair, I am excited to provide this service to all my clients of all hair types!
